This picture was took at Graceland in 1960. It was the day Elvis returned home for the first time after he got back from Germany. I have seen many pictures before from Elvis in the backyard with his cake, but never this one. It looks as if he is in Graceland. Notice the pictures in the background that fans had made Elvis and sent him in. I notice on of them that I have seen in many books that are in the current archives. Elvis always saved pretty much anything and everything his fans sent him. Graceland still carries on with that tradition for the most part today.Monday, November 3, 2008

Very cool pic of Elvis. I love the artwork behind him. It looks great. It's great that he was so responsive to the things his fans sent him.
